This is not the classified section, but since you felt inclined to post a plug pimping your Heep, I feel inclined to give you my recommendation for selling it:

Paint your your axles, frame, rollbar and fender flares the same 'Monster' Energy Drink green as the headlight bezels. Swap out the Uroks for a set of Thornbirds or Gumbo Mudders.

Then post it in Craigslist asking an absurd amount. Wait for a high school kid to convince his parents this is the best thing since sliced bread.

I found this ad today..... I think it qualifies for this thread.
http://savannah.craigslist.org/cto/4165795194.html
A steal of a deal at $1500. "ran great when I parked it 23 yrs ago" Wow.

Nice find, thank for sharing even though it is a shame to see a Commando in this condition.

Don't let Hoss catch you saying that about a Jeepster.

Below are the click-free pics so all can see once the CL ad expires:

Commandos are my first love affair with jeeps. Had a friend in college with one in good condition and we cruised it everywhere. Still would like to find one one day.

Poor little fella, just needs a lil' love (don't we all)

Reminds me of my first one...

I actually just found a set of those Commando emblems in a box of stuff on my shelf in the shop, half-*** thinking of cleaning them up and throwing them on the side of the JK for posterity!

There's one occasionally for sale here in Freeport Maine. In the summer the drive it out front of their place and put a for sale sign on it. Green '71 Jeepster. V6 maybe?

Now thats a real interesting picture. And its indoors to boot. Once again I want to thank you for the time you spend adding this incredible content to OUR Forum. As you know we have way surpassed the Rotting thread on the Samba by a long shot
Thank You
Ron
