Oooh, pretty! And getting wheeled too! Most of the Niners I see are highway queens! Are you still running the stock t-case? I've been thinking about getting a 93-98 w/ Selec-Trac and dropping in a 5.9. All the mounts and such fm a 5.2 should work, so it ought to be a pretty simple swap, but I've heard horror stories about those Quadra-Trac cases coming apart behind the 5.9's, especially when towing!

Not mine (see the username?
)Scott (Colorado 5.9) dropped a 242 in it. 6.5" on T&T long arms (first production unit from T&T), ACOS all around. Check the FAQ in the GC section for everything needed to do a niner swap. 93-95 249 (Quadra-Trac) doesn't have low lock, which makes it a not so desirable case. Forget the crap somebody vomited out about the case coming apart. The viscous coupler, which handles the transfer of power to the front axle is a sealed unit, and can cook anywhere from 65k miles to 120k miles plus. 5.9 does need the 46RE transmission though - beefier than the 44RE, which in turn is beefier than the 42RE that's mated to the 4.0.

Here's my niner, I've only had it about 3 months but I'm in love! It's got a 3.5 kit from RC on it and I've got a brand new set of jk wheels and bfg mt's sitting at the house waiting on adapters to get here. Hope you all like.
