I want to see what you have. Looking for ideas. My goal is to run 35s w/ 2" suspension and 1" body, tube fenders, limit the up travel, cut the rear a bit.
This thread is awesome. When I first bought my jeep I thought I was going to go 4.5 - 5.5" for a lift. Now I don't want to go any higher than an OME 2" and 1" BL. And the home made AEV looking highline kits are fantastic. $2k saved. Thanks for all of the contributors. I hope to be putting mine up by the end of the summer.
Thanks,
Not yet, I do want to start one though. I just started the build. So far: d44 rear swap, 4.88 gears, DIY highline, all stock suspension (except for the 1" spacers)
It's funny, most people dont even notice that. I'll be at a gas station and someone will ask how much lift and what kind of suspension, I'll say stock suspension and a lot of bodywork. Then there like "oh damn!"
Stock rear coils from my 97 TJ =0 lift
Stock front coils from front of 97 TJ and a 1.75 spacer.
Rough country long arms and 35 km2's
Nemesis rear armor with +1 opening and I'm adding gen-right coil correction soon.
1.25 body lift and belly coming soon
Couldn't resist the tire sale today so I bit the bullet. 2.5" OME, 1.25JKS, re-gear to 4:88's Thursday, Poison Spider Defender 3" install next week ...still deciding what to do for rear fenders (help) ... Moab bound in 3 weeks.

Stock tj springs, one tones and 37s. No weight on the springs. Once I engine, cage, seats are in, and fender trimmed, it will have about 4 inches of up travel, it has 8 inches of down travel right now
