255/85/16's anybody run'em?

I have been doing searches every evening for a couple weeks now and I havent been able to find much on this size. Can I see what your 255/85/16's look like on your jeep? Please post your B.S. and rim width also. Thanks in advance.

Really? no one. Does my title have to say something like KM2 or soft 8 to get any response?

I'll give another bump. I'm looking at this size for my LJ. I'd love to see pictures anyone has of their Jeeps with 255/85R16s.

These are 255/80r17 which are essentially identical in size to the 255/85r16 but with a different rim size.

You can plug the sizes in here to see how they compare.

Here is what the 17's look like

I've been running the 255/85/16 for a couple of years now. They fit on a 6.5 to 8.5 rim. These here are on a 8x16 with 4.5 BS. No need for a lift, good on the highway, great in snow.

Rubi Unlimited - how does the ride and handling of those KM2s compare to the stock MTRs?

Giggles - How are the STs on ice?

I'm fairly certain my next tire will be a 255/85 but I am torn between the Cooper ST, the KM2 and the Bighorn. I really only need an AT so the Cooper ST is very tempting. But I haven't seen much feedback on them. I like that the KM2 has 3 ply sidewalls, but I don't like the load range E. I'm concerned it might be too stiff. From other pictures I've seen of the Bighorns they look just slightly wider than the ST or KM2 and tend to be the best looking tire of the bunch. They are also load range D. But again its only 2 ply sidewall and I don't need a mud tire.

So thanks for the pictures and please feel free to provide any additional insight into your tires.

Nothing is very good on ice but these do have holes in them for studs (I've never used them) but I do put on a snowplow for the winter and I've had no problems.
