Heh, thought it looked funny when I got it back last week. oh well I'll get around to it. I don't see it causing me any problems in the sand this weekend. thanks for securing my suspicions though.

I know it's not exactly what you asked for, but here's my old YJ with Rancho 2.5" suspension lift and 32's.

did those shackles provide any lift? I have a 2inch suspension, and wanted to do 5/8" lift shackles, tj flares with 33's, was wondering if i could do this without the body lift. also, did you have the swaybar disconnected? any rubbing?

The shackles are the ones that came w/ the RE lift kit. And I was getting some rubbing w/o the BL. I did have to cut out fenders w/ the TJ flares, and I do run with the sway bar disconnected and was getting a very minor and I mean minor rubbing on the flares. I installed longer bump stops in the rear and that took care of the problem.

2003 WJ Question

Hey guys I have a quick question if someone can please help me out. I have a 2003 Grand Cherokee and I am planning to put a Rusty's 2.5 inch lift on it. I need to know if 255/70/17 with 17x9 wheels will fit ok and that there will not be any clearances issues? This will be used primarly as a daily driver and maybe once in a while take it offroad but nothing major.

I run a 2.5" spring lift with 1" shackle on my CJ and clear 33's just fine with no sway bar. I will see if I can get some pics up later tonight for ya.
