Snow wheelin' Jan 21, 06 in Ontario, Canada

Well, this wasn't a huge trip with lots of jeeps or anything like that, it was me and my girlfriend heading out into the fresh snowfall from the night before. While the people on the TV and radio were all saying to stay home and avoid the roads yesterday after the big snow, we decided to head over to the local spot.

It was a beautiful day, and the scenery was amazing. We didn't do anything too crazy, but we totally enjoyed running through the trails that were untouched when we arrived, except by the wildlife.

I decided to take a few pics along the way and thought I would share, enjoy!

Nice snow pics. You do have small trees though, they've been logged probably 5 times since european descent.

Here's a tree up behind where I live. Its the biggest known Juniper.

nice pics, man. wish it would snow here!! i think we've only had about 3 or 4 snowstorms this year... none of which were of any real significance.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Yeah, the trees are definately short. On this land there is a few old old foundations of houses, and a few old driftwood-type fenced areas. It might have been an early settlement area as it's quite close to Toronto.

One night wheeling through this area in a large field that has lots of hills where people wheel I decided to go over a hill that had no tire tracks in the snow. Big mistake. It turns out on the other side of the hill under the snow was the foundation of another really old house, which I got stuck really bad on (wheels in the air pretty much with the foundation running under the jeep front to back). Took another jeep pulling + the old hi-lift to get out of there!
