my dad ran fordyce creek back in 1990 with his 1985 toyota with a 4 inch lift and 33's, no lockers.

back then they called it the sierra trek.

he was one of 2 toyota's, and he made it up all 5 winch hills.

It was his work truck ,and ran it witha lumber rack on it.

You are refering to a river crossing that is 22 years older then when your buddy went through it with a yota. lets see anyone else who has gone through it recently. ANYONE? I am thinking about making a trip out there as well.

If you go during the time of the Sierra Trek (its an event for that trail) the river flow rate is alot slower. Check out Pirate 4x4 and they have some links to the flow rate for the river
