Pictures from my Lunar Vacation

Man, it was a long, cramped trip, but we finally made it back. I have to say that the LJ served us well again. We had to adjust the fuel mixture a little, but the extra cargo space sure came in handy. And at just 630 pounds under lunar gravity, who needs lockers?

First, I had to upgrade to the new Firestick antenna.

Crawling out of Plum Crater, near the Apollo 16 landing site.

Here I am goofing around back at camp. Check out that vertical! Michael Jordan can eat my shorts.

Some of the trails were a little harder than others. It's always a good idea to walk ahead if you're not sure about the terrain. Thanks to my honey for spotting.

Lunar surface a barren wasteland? No way. I was able to find enough firewood to fill the LJ. A little oxygen would have been nice, however. Combustion is overrated.

These are all the pictures I was able to recover from my compact flash card after a sunspot fried it. Thank goodnes I was able to recover these or nobody would have believed I went.

Moab, schmoab.
