Naches - Labor Day Weekend

A few of us headed over to Naches for some camping and trails. Grizz and I arrived earlier Thursday evening to get a camp spot.

Some buggys were doing their thing at Moon Rocks

It is all build preference and what you plan to do with them. I didn't plan on 40s. I had a real nice set of 37 MTZs; the 40s appeared on Craigslist for $1500, 5 new and never mounted. And BAM I was on 40s. Great tire size for an Unlimited; very proportionate. I have 15K miles on these and at least 60% tread; wont need tires for quite awhile. The original MTRs were excellent tires, and wear very very well.

Next tire will be 38.5 or 38. No build change plans; very happy with all that it does and drives daily.

I would go 38x14.50x17 mtr/kevlars. And drop the height a little bit.

Not sure what the tire brand will be. In 2 years there will be a whole new hot tire out there. If Mickey Thompson would make the MTZ larger than a 37, I would be all over it. Excellent tire. I am liking the Pitbulls as well.
