After this adventure I've been pondering my winch tackle needs. I could certainly use a snatch block, a few more D-rings, and maybe even some extra winch line for added length.....but all that would take away from my tire fund, what to do, what to do. lol.

I thought you were going to suggest a second winch.

The scenery never changes unless you're the Lead Dog.

Very nice. All this snow makes me want to take a day off and hit the slopes....so to speak.

The locker mod is so easy, it makes you wonder why every Rubi hasn't done it. Trail 3, er, 13 here we come!

Awesome report and pictures. I've been kinda hesitant about The Cliffs because I've heard trail damage is a bit more common (than Badlands), but doesn't seem too bad, and def looks like a good time! Once I get some more armor I'll have to check it out.

As long as you don't hit a tree, you're pretty much ok.

It's best to go when there's been a lack of rain or snow, as the soil there seems to be way more slick than the Badlands soil. But being an hour from home, as opposed to 3.5 hours from home, makes it appealing.
