Just an idea... We (SWMJ) are working on making another run the to the Badlands in July '09. Any plans on another run at that time? If so, we would probably come down for it.

As for now, Our 2009 events & runs are not planned yet though, we'll have a full year planned as always sometime with-in December. It would be cool if our clubs can meet up and wheel again.
Next year we'll have lots more exciting events and will be big. I plan to make some of these runs with vendors and have a theme to it. I'll try my best to make our Spring and Summer event very attractive so, lots of jeepers and offroading will come.
I'll be working with the owners of the Badlands & Mission Impossible on quiet a few of our events and several runs will be "Jeeps Gone Wild Night Runs". The owners already gave me the approval that we can plan a few night runs during the year for our club. These night runs will be exclusively set for our
"Official Jeeps Gone Wild" members. These events will be some of the benifits in joining our club.
So, Keep a look out for them and hope everyone will join in.
It's going to be a Rock n" year ahead!

Mike, that sounds absolutely awesome...i'd love to hit especially mission impossible. I know a few guys at work that went on Impossible, and said it was a good time. I hear it's technical and about 10 miles long. I've been wanting to hit this trail for a long time...so count me in for sure. I'll call off work if I have to for that one. Some night runs sound like a good time also, will give me a chance to show off my lighting effects better, hehe.

This is an "extreme" rock crawling trail that is near Badlands Offroad Park but is on private property and is 10 miles in total length. OAO offers day guide service to this trail also and "Mission Impossible" is only accessible through OffroadAdventureOutfitters,Inc.

I believe this is the toughest obstacle on the trail. My one buddy who went on it has a jeep comprable to mine and he doesn't wheel as hard as in the videos, so I take it there is a bypass or he didn't wheel this part. But don't quote me on it. All i'm saying is he did at least some of it, and said it was pretty crazy, but I know he wouldn't do this part. I too would like to know more about it. this is all i could come up with for now. I'll try to get ahold of him to find out more. But, i'm am pretty confident this is not for stock jeeps.

That is one sick trail! Count me in!! Guess I'll get the lockers in and put rock sliders on the winter project list

I'm sure since it's a private trail there's a hefty $$$ to get in - don't know about you guys, but I'd pay the premium to have a chance at something like this so close to home. Was considering another Moab trip next spring, but Mission Impossible might 'scratch the itch' and probably some paint too Mike, if there's anything we can do to help arrange this, speak up!

Hey smoke, I am going to EJS next year also...so we are definately gonna have to hook up. Planning on going for 2 weeks since it's such a long drive. Was planning on maybe 5 days at EJS and then over to bryce then up to salt lake. Was thinking about getting a villa also, depends on cost. I checked availibility and everything is pretty much still open. Let me know if you are definately going and we can figure something out.

Mission Impossible is a hardcore offroading park owned by Troy & Lisa.
Troy & Lisa were the owners of the Badlands but, Kyle & Stephanie are now the new owners of the Badlands. My daughter Ashley and Me have known Troy & Lisa for 8 years and this was when they owned both offroading parks. Since Troy & Lisa let Kyle & Stephanie manage the Badlands, Troy & Lisa still own Mission Impossible. Kyle & Stephanie will be helping our club out on many of our events that are taken place at the Badlands. But, Kyle also mentioned that he wants to bring our club to Mission Impossible and enjoy that park as well. Troy & Lisa also asked our club to come to Mission Impossible so, we can visit them and offroad at their park. Troy & Lisa owned this park for many years but not many know about this offroading park. This park is for sure a hardcore offroading area and select clubs and offroaders go there.
We'll plan for our club to go there though out the year and our club does not have to go though OffroadAdventureOutfitters,Inc since we know Troy & Lisa. They welcome us like family so, We'll be ok when we go to their park. I'll post more information when time comes for these events. So, Keep a look out on the dates.

So rumor has it that JP magazine was at the Badlands last weekend we were there but that they were filming on 'private property.' Mission Impossible? Guess I'll have to wait for the next issue of JP to get a closer look...hopefully!

Mascun, that'd be awesome to hook up for the Easter safari. As of now, haven't got any other takers, so I'll probably be looking for somebody to cruise with.
