Yeah, nary a one of my JK, and I was the only one in our group I think No worries, I have plenty of my own and plan on more runs, so I'm sure I'll make the highlight reel. Hopefully it's not for something stupid......maybe.

Ok I found you...pre-wheeling though. I don't think we were in the same group on the trails. I know you were in the first group on the Orange Trail, and I was in the second.

I found you too, but you're not wheeling either, just standing in front of your jeep like everyone else....

Now I know there are lots of other people with lots more pictures, so lets get to posting them!

I just checked the JGW photobucket...it's still empty!

I got a couple of you for mthe first section of trail. I will post it up when I get home from school.

Kinda hard to find time between work clean the underbody and brakes of the jeep and go to school. O yeah and restock u-joints, antifreeze, and ATF.

SO what was the total damage of the day

I know we had
1.Carlos and his wk with the ball joint problem
2. Mike with t-case linkage issues
3.the samurai green yj with the rear drive shaft poping out on the blacktop at the end.
4. Chad and his TJ with the water in tranny
5. Fransisco a lil overheat on the way home.

Anything else I didnt here about?

Got everyone home without a problem though

Yes...sometimes it's just a little harder, or a helping hand may be needed.

That's always the problem, isn't it.

If you take pictures, you miss out on the fun. If you are participating and having fun, you don't get many pics!

That's where my dash cam is kinda cool, except that you only get video of what's going on right in front of the camera! I need a wider lens. I only have to remember to point my Jeep in the direction of something interesting.

Maybe a still camera mounted like my video camera, perhaps on a timer to take a pic every so many seconds or minutes. Or with a remote trigger.

For trail riding in a group, it may be beneficial to have one pointed out the front and a second one pointed out the back. Some interesting stuff happens out the back.

I noticed that when reviewing my 90+ minutes of footage, the wife would say "So, why are you stopped on the trail? There's nobody in front of you." to which I would answer "Listen closely, you can hear the Jeep behind me gun it over that hole we just passed."

Ideas for next time...
