Yep, that was me. Stuff happens I guess....this time to me. I didn't have it as bad as that guy in the Toyota I guess. I heard that crash but didn't see it happen.

It was great how everyone jumped in and helped me out of that jam.

Sounds like you guys had a good time too. It's nice that you had a trailer along....there were times I was thinking I was going to need one.

Easy there fellas. When someone breaks its stressful for more than just one person, we all need to remember that. We all need to take things in stride and live with it. The fact of the matter is we all wheeled our Jeeps for the majority of the weekend (or day) and we all (Jeeps included) made it home in one piece. I for one feel that Jeff's trail repair was a true sign of our club's teamwork even if some may feel a little salty about it.

Back to the pictures.

Heres the aftermath of the Yota

Heres Phil's Rubi making the double bump look VERY easy.

Heres Sean taking a dip.

And James losing a bead.

I had a blast. The XJ needs a month worth of TLC but shes a warrior. Only real damage was a broken parking brake cable.

The rest of my (and others) pics can be found here.

Phil's 37's worked alot better on the step than my 33's did....I mean didn't. I've done that before, but couldn't make it on Saturday. Sunday looked like a blast...wish I could have stayed for day two.

Looks like the axle seal may be shot.....leakage......

I put the plastic "seal" back on, so I'll give it another day, after topping the fluid off again, and see how she is.

I never would have gotten home without the help of all you guys!

Hopefully I'll have it back to normal come the Halloween bash....or sooner.

i got a few pics of the toyota.. my gf also snagged a pic of your club presidents jeep while we were there..

heh.. jeffro i came up to you and asked you if you needed a hand or some tools.. then like 2 seconds later i turned around and watched the toyota flip.. it was pretty crazy

i had problems on the double bump on saturday too.. the sand right at the front of it where it was dug in a little bit was just moist enough for me not to make it up.. i went up it with no problem my last trip to attica..

heck i went over some things on saturday morning that i couldnt make it up a few hours later.. sort of weird.. sunday was all out tho.. played on purgatory and some of the steeper rock walls

That Yota had a wild ride.

The step up is wierd. The first time I did it was in the rain...so go figure. I was close to getting it on Saturday, but didn't want to break anything....oh the irony!

Believe it or not I cleared the double step on my bald a/ts a while back. Now that they have that hole dug out I don't think I'll ever make it again though.

Don't be so sure...that longer wheel base seems to pay off on the step up, and besides you won't have those tires forever.

I'm on a nfresh set of MT/Rs now but that hole at the bottom makes it a little harder.
