Goat Mtn OR pics

Saturday a few of us headed up to Goat Mtn, east of Portland. There were 2 Jeeps & an F-350. It was the first time I really got to try out the new shocks & wheeling without the sway bar. They both made a big difference.

The only carnage was on the Ford. He tried to climb a hill & nailed a rocked pretty good. He was losing air out of his front pass side tire. We got the leak stopped without the tire going completely flat, but then he realized he had no steering. He broke the input shaft on the steering box. We broke the drag link apart at the pitman arm, hooked a chain to the drag link, & manually steered him about 1/2 mile down to a spot where a to truck could get to him. Other than that, it was a great day of wheeling.
