Fortune Creek, Van Epps Pass 09/04/2011

Fortune Creek trail clear and dry, very nice trail with few challenges, ending in a great lake view at Galagher head lake. Camped here on Saturday. A couple of spurs take off from here with mines to explore. Started up Van Epps pass solo on Sunday. Got to the fork and decided to turn back. Van Epps has some good boulder climbing and we felt too much of a challenge with one rig. We'll be back with friends!

I so love the Pacific NW as I was born out there. I'd love to drive my Heep back, but wow would that be far! Beautiful pictures...
