Fordyce 6-1-08

My friend Tom and I ran the Fordyce Trail to the first river crossing and back yesterday. I just wanted to give a heads up that we saw a few vehicles at the Eagle Lakes staging area that had the windows busted out. Just wanted to let those who leave their tow rigs there know that the break-ins are happening again this year.

Now on to the trail. It's got allot of water on it right now but the first river crossing was pretty low. (it barely swallowed my 37's). We didn't get many pictures because we were moving at a pretty good pace but here are a few.

Me at the first river crossing, and a small climb before Sunrise Hill.

And, Tom at the crossing and a shot of him at "the ledge".

Nice photos... I love water crossings myself... although I am not on 37's.

And wow, that is no good about tow rigs getting broken into. That would really ruin a nice day in the woods.

I'll have more pictures next week. We are running the trail all the way through this Sunday.

I wish I had a place like that around where I live. I love water crossings.
