Because when you hit the brake you get launched like a sled. Sometimes you didn't even to hit the brake and you got launched like a sled! Back end came around once and hitting the gas almost didn't stop it.

Had a great time! Stretched the limits of my comfort zone...the snowy hill climbs on the 520 & 198 were enough to make a fella pucker. Going down was even worse! "Yeah, had to calm the RagedOleWoman more than once" :-)...here's a few more pictures that I shot....

NOTE: The Aussie was flawless. Only locked in the front, I thought I might have some trouble. I was wrong "on this trip..."
At Hells Gate the secret for me was taking a line to the right, made it on the first attempt! Window breaker hill climb on the 311 had but one casualty; broken passenger side mirror an Trailgnome's (Lee) Rubi.

If memory serves me correctly, we did the 311 lower, 311 upper, 520 lower, 102 from the bottom up, 198 from the bottom.

Lunch at the campground. roasting hot dogs, and shooting the sh** with everyone was a blast, too! Snowing like crazy during lunch! It was beautiful...

Last two photo's of mine...I would have taken more, but, the RaggedOleWoman was so scared, most of my free time was tending to her, LOL!

Thanks BaddAndy, for the great shots of my rig! A bonus for me, being next to last in the group! Had a great time! Albeit, a bit scared more than once...Don't tell the RaggedOleWoman...

Lots of great pics and beautiful scenery! Snow wheelin' is definitely fun and has it's own little quirks you don't get otherwise.

If you mean green then that's me. The duratracs are awesome tires. I never had a problem with traction when I had them. I'm running 35" mtr's now but would be running 35" duratracs if it wasn't for the price. $206/tire for mtr's vs almost $300/tire for duratracs.

I would reccomend the duratracs to anyone.
