Great sunday morning read

I plan to do something like this, but on a cruiser motorcycle (so no off road for me) 1 day. The Jeep is awesome but the 10 mpg makes it a little less fun.

I as well enjoyed your adventure. I'd love myself to take five weeks off and do the same. Someday I will, but for now all I can squeeze away from work is two weeks.

Thanks...for taking me on the trip with you and getting me the heck out of here, for at least a little while. Oh... crap, I 'm really still at work.

Great trip.

Heh heh... It shows in your report.

I put my 2-wheeled hobby on indefinite hold thanks to 1 too many close calls like the one you describe. I truly miss the ride reports I used to read, and occasionally write, over there at ADV. It's nice to see somone embody the spirit of that kind of trip report here in Jeep-land. Nice job!
