Nice pics, alwasy thought it looked fun out there. Is there more to Disney than the little pond area with the step-ups and rock drainage?

I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.

Yes there is more to Disney than just the rock area. There is also supposed to be a large network of trails. I haven't been on those yet, but i've been told there are a bunch.

To anyone who likes to play on the rocks I think it's a great place, the water makes things interesting at times.

There are miles of trails out in the back half of Disney. Everything ranging from mud holes to amzingly steep climbs and decents. Some of them are rather scarey. such as "pinball". On pinball, if you break while going up, you will look like a pinball bouncing off the trees on your way down. For other climbs, there is Viagra (aka Wall Of Death). It is a major rock hill climb that you have to start off in a small pond. Allot of pople have rolled it while attempting thathill. There is a small ledge that if you hit, you will more than likely bounce the front end up and thats where everyone looses it. That one likes its horse power and speed.

Here is a rollover clip from Viagra (wall of Death) in Disney OK.

http://www.tdiyoffroad.com/videos/Disney%20roll.MOV

In it, you can see the small ledge I mentioned earlier.

Keep in mind, you are at the base of a dam on Grand Lake. If you are there again, and you hear a rather loud siren..... GET THE HELL OUT!!!!! that meens that you have 30 minutes to get out before they let out the dam. When that 30 minutes is up, you will have 4 feet of water rushing at you at about 50mph. If you cant get all the way out, get to high ground. If you are stuck or broke, try to anchor your rig to anything sold that you can find.

That looks like loads of fun. Im way the heck on the other side of Oklahoma though. I wish i could come out that far. Been to clayton, which is about a 100 miles south of Mcallister and that rock crawling was awesome. Thing was, it was like a 5 hour drive and that was a bit much for me. First time towing a jeep too. Im in Elk City, 45miles west of weatherford. Do you know anyone or any clubs over on this side? This side of oklahoma is really hilly or really flat, no rocks at all, just mud....

The closest club I can think of, that is on that side of the state, is Oklahoma Trail hasers. I'm pretty sure they are based out of OKC and have members all over the state. http://www.trailchasers.com/
Can't hurt to check them out.

if you go in the summer, be sure you bring plenty of water, if gets HOT down in that hole. Also, there is a swiming hole over by Little Blue (or so Im told, I havent seen anyone swim in it before). It gets nicer back in the woods on a hot day. Make sure you explore as much as you can there is so much more than the rocks and river beds. BUT, you can do all of Disney in less than a day, so it does get kinda old.
