Coast Road from Bixby Bridge to 5 miles out & back

First time running Coast Road near Carmel. It's a 1 out of 10 difficulty. Road was closed about 5 miles in (looks like new drainage pipes going in.

Although the road is easy, it is a gorgeous change from the usual fog bank hanging near the coastline.

Big groves of trees.

Big groves of trees.
Lots of shade and a creek (Bixby Creek) right next to the road part of the way.

I drove that a few years ago. Yes, while easy, there are some great views. Thanks for sharing.
