Badlands 4/12/08 - Attica, IN

Since no one else has put anything up yet. I'll start!

Most of them are of me. But the other guys that went should have a lot more. Hopefully the GF won't be as scared next time and she'll be able to get out and take some pics. I also have 4 videos. Hopefully the video's will work.

If you look really close in Badlands 4. You can see where his mirror snaps back and cracks his window. I was really trying to take pictures but somehow I had switched it to video. haha.

Here's a few more that I took though, It's not a lot because my batteries died on my camera after a few shots. I'll take lots more on the 27th

Nice pics, and thanks for sharing guys! Hopefully I will be able to make it to the next event after the 27th. It really would have been nice to run with a fellow Rubi.

It looks like you guys hit a different trail or two this time out, we should aim to do as many as possible on the 27th.

Also, I bought another XJ today! (It'll be for sale soon though)

The story needs to be told here. I can't tell where this was either.

Cool pics and vids.

Well. I figured since some of the other guys could get through it. I could to. What they didn't tell me was they weren't going through the center. They were going off to one side. So I got to where I was in the pic and Carlos (I think it was him). Goes, "You just had to pick the biggest puddle." And I was like, "Hey, go big or go home!" So they pulled me out and she started right up.

I think it could have made it if I would have stuck it in 4 low and started it. Cause I didn't flood it. I just lost the rpms to keep my tires going.

P.S. I thought my GF was about to die. She thought I REALLY messed it up, and I was like. "No everything's fine. I'm the one that killed it. It'll start back up." hahaha. Minus that one incident we'll definitely be going back!

Is that the pit way on the far side of the park, up on top of the hill, like? The first time I went there (alone) I ventured up there.

Nice way to test out that new Rubi! It looks like there was some clean up work to do! Last time I was there I sank my TJ in some mud that had snow/ice over the top. My TJ looked about the same inside.

Thanks for sharing.
