Awesome write up and night time adventure. The last time I was at the Badlands I as well found the mud pits. It's just like a bunch of mud craters...

After getting home and driving the jeep to work on monday morning i noticed some noises one from drivers brake and the other a clunk from passenger side? Found brake pads gone, and busted passenger u joint! Fixed brakes had to buy new rotor for drivers side! Tryed to fix u joint last night but all I got was nine stitches in left thumb from missing the u joint cap and slamming thumb w/ 2# sledge!!!!OUCH:oops:

Sweet pics. I ran for a couple hours in the morning with Mascun. Just before the rain came down we were heading towards Kevin's trail. We had just started when it came down. We pulled off on the trail and waited awhile. Finally we pressed forwards. Somehow I ended up jamming a 3 foot long section of wood between my driveshaft and one of the skids. Tore the boot off the front drive shaft and am still laughing that of all the trails we ran I got damage on Kevin's. LOL
