Alaska 4x4 Meet & Greet

Each year here in Alaska we have the Alaska 4x4 Meet & Greet. People come from all over the state and meet up in Palmer, Alaska. The first day is when we say hi and have classes on how to winch and such. The second day is the trail runs. Here are some pics.

My jeep on the RTI ramp. Scored a 541 with sways off.

Here are some trail pics from Sunday. My group was on a trail called Ruby Lake. It is not to hard of a trail till you get to the top. Lots of rocks.

It was with a different group. But from what I heard he did ok. That hill he trying to climb can be a hard hill to climb. And I think he still has stock tires. Muds do much better there.

Great photos. I'm considering a move to Anchorage myself (several job offers pending). Never been to Alaska, but it looks beautiful. I don't mind cold, but the long nights might get to me.

NNNIIIIICEEEE!!!! I read about it on Arctic offroad out of Fairbanks. My wife and I are moving up there in July, now just to buy a Jeep up there (it wasn't worth it to bring my XJ but I figure we will find something up there). Glad to see there are at least SOME technical trails. I had heard it was all a bunch of mud.

ooohhh, nice pictures. Very Nice!!
When is this meet and greet in Palmer?
I'm in Anchorage and I don't get to take my Jeep "out" nearly enough.
I think it's itching for some dirt!!!
