2 guys, 2 Jeeps, Colorado Snow

Well, I haven't been able to go wheeling this year until last Saturday. My buddy Freddie called so we were off. So, we went up to Old Stage Road here in Colorado Springs. This trail is open year round and during the summer it is pretty technical in some spots. Well, in the middle of Feb. it is nothing but snow. Regardless, I wanted to get some mud on the old Yeep.

Here is Freddie's Yj - 2 and 1/2" Rubicon Express with 29" TSL's:

Both Yeeps:

Well, we couldn't find the trail we wanted so we decided to try a side road, but it was way too deep:

Found a Peacock at 8,000 feet?!

Finally found the road to Mt. Baldie, but it was about 12 to 18 inches of snow!!!:

We ran into this too, an ice ledge about 13 inches high!:

Freddie nailed it a few times, I crawled and floored it:

It got really late and Fred got stuck until a Rubicon saved him.

Anyway, it was a blast, thanks Fred, we shall do it again, soon!!

Next day, I found some more mud:

So, it wasn't the most intense wheeling, but it was getting out. I think I discovered I have a Trashlock. While going up the ledge i lost traction on my left rear tire and all of the sudden the right rear grabbed hard an launched me forward. Who knows?

I do know one thing, I need lockers!!!
