Wood trim -is it a decal or something else

Ok so I know this question may seem dumb to some...but looking at my grandwagoneer the outside woodtrim just seems to be a decal. Did this jeep one time have real trim or were all jeeps created this way. Is it the lower grade model?

Thanks,

They were all a decal. No worries you didn't get a "cheap" one.

Not only were they all done with a decal, there are still wood grain vinyl kits you can get your hands on if it needs replaced at any time.

I recently pulled my trim off and sanded off vinyl..the trim is in pretty good shape with a couple pieces needing re-vinyled. Is this possible???

You can buy new vinyl to replace what you have. BJs has a kit. http://www.bjsoffroad.com/prod-527.htm
