My 1988 Jeep Wagoneer Limited wipers do not work. The washer works though and everything else on the column.

I'm guessing you're in the wrong area, try the Cherokee forum. If your Jeep looks like the one over there

then it's an XJ, same as a Cherokee and to a lesser extent, the Comanche MJ.

why would he have to go to the cherokee forum when he said his WAGONEER LIMITED wipers dont work?

Try changing the fuse, theyre quite cheap, then use a wire tester to check the wiring and such.
Also see if they are seized wth rust, that might have happened

Because our Wagoneer Limited XJs have a lot more in common with the Cherokees that they're identical to, instead of the full size Grand Wagoneers that we only share a name with. I just figure I'd lead him towards the XJ section.

Try leaving the switch on and grabbing the wipers, gently pull them up to see if the motor is just stuck.

well ya, of course its closer to a cherokee, way closer...its hardly similar to the grand wagoneer or grand cherokee...i mean somethings are similar, but these are closer to cherokees, its just a chero with some wood paneling
