Where is everybody

Come on you guys, where is all the excitement over your Wagoneers. No posts since the 5th!
I just pulled the 76 Wagoneer out of the garage to continue work on it now that the weather is better here in the Bay Area. I almost traded it away until I came to my senses. I just found out that I`m going to have a baby boy, and I can`t wait to have him help me do the work on his future jeep. By time he`s 16 the Wagoneer should be imaculate. I know that sounds like a long time, but I couldn`t think of a better way to spend my time. I`ve already dropped a 401 and B&M shifter in it and that`s as far as I`ve gotten so far. I have plans for a lift and body off resto as well as custom made interior that I will fabricate myself.

Well I just wanted to kick start some dialogue.
So pull out those Wagoneers and let them know you haven`t forgotten them!

5.9 litre, stock. 89 XJ with 5 inch lift, roof rack and 31X10.5`s on 589`s. 76 Wagoneer with 401,edelbrock,MSD,Header and B&M auto shifter.

I dunno what's the matter with the rest of the Wagoneer guys here, Rudy!

I'm a CJ guy myself, but I like the Wagoneers, think they are one of the "coolest" Jeeps (I did say ONE OF, LOL). I talked my old man into buying onea couple years ago, and even with its many quirks, he loves it. He's got a newer one, an '89 loaded with all power everything and a 360.

Hope you can drum up some replies, these guys are acting like dead wood!

My project vehicle... almost sold a month ago until my wife found out and told me I was out of my mind for thinking about selling it (God I love her!)...
<img src="http://www.oiiiiiiio.com/tonyrio/bomber28.JPG" alt="" />
Will be putting in a new 360 this summer. The existing one just ain't worth the hassle...
<img src="http://www.oiiiiiiio.com/tonyrio/bomber13.JPG" alt="" />
And the interior work is already underway. Headliner and carpet is out along with the interior panels, which are getting replaced with denim covered masonite.

<img src="http://www.oiiiiiiio.com/tonyrio/bomber17.JPG" alt="" />
Also planning to install a 2" lift to freshen up the stock springs and eventually fit 33"s on it. In the process right now of hacking off the wide track fender flares and trimming some body for that bit of extra tire clearance. They will be replaced with a set of TJ flares sitting in my garage. The old steel flares were shot anyhow...

Also replacing the front floor boards (what front floorboards?) and the rear wheel wells with galvanized tin. And when it's "done" some new Superman Blue paint.

1978 Cherokee Chief Wide Track Levi Edition - AMC 360ci w\ Holley 4 barrel - Dana 44's front and rear - TH400 3spd auto trans - Quadratrac with low gear
