What gear ratio's

I know of a J10 or 20 (not sure yet) and it has the 258 6 cylinder and a three speed. Is the gear ratio a 4.09? I had a 79 J10 with the 360 and the T18 but it had 3.56 gears. Are these axles a dana 60 and a dana 44? Also what is the width of the track on these axles. Looking to do a swap into a wrangler.

89 YJ upgraded with 95 Chevy LT1 small block, NV4500 5spd, tera low 231 SYE, Custom built crossmembers and skids, 2003 Corvette Electron Blue paint, 3 inch custom spring lift with 2 inch shackles, 2 inch body lift, locked 8.8 with discs, 4:10's and 35's, spray lined tub, and a few other unmentionables

If it's a 258 then it's a J10. J20 had a V8 standard. I would need the year to tell the axle ratio. If it's 1980 and up, then it would be (stock) either a 2.72 or a 3.31. Some VERY rare models had 3.73, but far and few. The rear would be an AMC 20, and the front a D44, again if 1980 and up. Those axles are way too wide for a Wrangler. You should be looking for axles from a (full size) Wagoneer or Cherokee which are about 6" narrower.

3.54 gears were in the pre '80 rigs with front and rear D44 axles.
