What fluid to use?

I have heard that the quadratrac with the 2wd conversions no longer needs to use the special fluid and can replace it with ATF. Anybody know anything about this?


1977 J-20 TeamRushed AMC 401, TH400, D44 front, D60 rear, 33x12.50R16.5 Mud Terrains, SOA, rear shackle flip.

Correct, since the clutches are eliminated with the 2wd conversion, they just take ATF.
