Doing the front brakes led to completely replacing the back brakes. Cylinders and links, shoes, spring kit, adjuster kit, rear brake line. At least the drums were good

Got my 3 hubcaps on. Anyone have an extra rear one they'd part with? Doesn't have to be nice. I need the metal one with the flat things that you screw on from the outside. As opposed to the metal'ish' ones that have the raised bottom, and take screws/bolts from the inside of the rim. I have an extra of the kind I don't need that I would trade.

Found some chrome dog print emblems at Pepboys. Put them on in honor of my doggy I just lost. Now she can still adventure with me

And replaced my timing cover with a Bulltear setup with HRC gears, and billet oil filter relocation kit.

Will post more pics when I finish up Saturday.

Fixed a loose battery connection, cranked it up and pulled it out of the garage then back in. I need to replace a rear wheel cylinder. Also noticed this black thing floating around, any idea what it is?

I believe it's a vacuum canister.

Mine was mounted to the fender well next to the cruise control.

Installed new dipstick tube with manifold on (kinda sucked). Adjusted steering gear box. Started preparing grill for paint. Acquired tahoe console the right color (still imagineering that one)

Solved the overheating, aluminum 2 row core w 1 inch wide tubes. The.number of fins per inch are nearly double the brass one I removed. Stays 180 now no matter what. I replaced the water pump for good measure w and hd iron pump. My delco was fine but bearings were a little loose and it was a rusty bastard. I would post pics but the forum seems to want me to down size them all now first w is a pita on the phone

update on the brakes:

The larger jb7 calipers, combined with my stock aluminum mags, ends with the weights being ripped off the tires. Going for adventure tomorrow, and will see how it is with no weights. If it sucks, back to Discount I go.

I currently have the drivers side bracket broken away from my radiator, its setting on the steering gear box. I have soldered these back on other rigs, but only with about a 40% success rate.
Were the blades eroded? Are you running both fans now (elect/mechanical)?

Rock, Check my post under Radiators just updated it with part #'s and pictures etc. No just electric fan only big 95 Taurus Puller fan. Flows approx 4000 CFM on high and around 2800 on low speed. Built my own controller using a manual probe stat from Derale for about 17 bucks and 2 40amp relays and a Zener Diode. Have it all tied into the AC so it comes on and off with the AC compressor cycling or whenever the thermostat reaches 190. I will be adding an Auto/OFF/Low switch hidden in the truck so I can disable it for water events if ever needed. I will say this I would not run this fan with a stock alt, it has a 35amp cont draw and about a 38-42 amp startup spike on high. I had already upgraded to a Police/Tax CS 140amp alt. Trust me the belts need to be tight or when the AC/Lights/E-Fan are all on raising the AC blower speed to would make the belts squeal. I also went from 12mpg flat to 13.4 hwy by ditching the mechanical fan. A mechanical 7 blade fan over 3000 RPM draws around 26hp, the 32amp cont draw on high converts to about 1.2hp worth of load on the alt, so aside from the 24+hp savings the e-fan is hardly on once moving over 40, unless the AC is on. The engine is also 1/2 as loud on the freeway now vs sounding like a swamp boat.

Oh and no the Delco water pump was in mint condition internally. Not even a rust spot on the impeller.

Click on the Grand Wagoneer - page is new and under construction during my spare time still have a ton of projects to load and pix
