Well poop. I hope my 850 miles back home won't hurt it too bad. I can't afford any additives at the moment

The harmonic balancer took a dookie and $150 later I'm broke.

I agree with this, on the oil. I use valvoline 20w-50 racing oil, for the ZDDP.

My GW is ready for pick up tomorrow. Talked him into changing my shocks out at no charge for the wait. I should also make him install my tfi kit but I'm looking forward to doing something on her after almost 2 weeks.

Thanks to the forum brethren for all the help.
Hope she is good as I imagine her to be.

Nothing important...

Dropped mine off this AM to have 4" BDS lift installed (all shocks and springs, not blocks in rear). It currently has non functioning airshocks in the rear, along with the typical front/rear spring sag. Really looking forward to seeing what these things ride like with a suspension that actually works!!

Installed 2 Amps, Polk 5x7's in the front doors, Alpine component 6.5" in the rears. Alpine 12" sub, JL Audio 300/4 and a temporary Fosgate while I am repairing the board on my JL 300/2 for the sub. When I redo all the carpeting, interior seals I will build panels that cover all but the tops of the amps making them appear frenched in with all the wiring covered. Alpine head unit with IPOD integration etc. I manged to run all the wiring drill the firewall, grommets, all soldered shrink wrapped no e-tape and got it all done in 6 hours.

Fronts are in the factory Acu-sound holes in the doors for a factory appearance.

that's awesome! Wish I'd thought to take measurements as well. Have you noticed any issues with the ride laterally, assuming track bars were removed?

Your right. 31's are coming, just need my wife approval on the next budget discussion. As for now they will have to do.

I did remove the track bars and no I can't tell any difference at all. Of course I don't try to corner the lead sled like its a sports car either. Overall the suspension was in such horrible condition the ride and steering response is vastly improved. It's a bit bouncy, but I'm hoping that settles down in a few hundred miles.

My shop called this AM, and they're going to mod the track/sway bars to keep them on the rig - they consulted with some off road shops in our area, and agreed it was best to keep them on the vehicle given the fact it will be on road more than off - will see how it goes. Also pulled the trigger on a set of 31s as well, since its in the shop (so it doesn't look silly ). Hope to get it back later today! Excited to see how it rides!!!

4" BDS Lift and new shoes

Just picked her up from the shop. So this is what these things are supposed to look like vs a very large station wagon! I'm falling in love with it all over again. Shop modded the track bars, and the sway bar links to keep everything "original". Rides great, steering is no different that previous. Ride really isn't any stiffer than it was riding around with four beat shocks and springs. Only issue will be that my better half will need a step ladder to get into the truck now

Oh - and they charged my A/C and it gets COLD inside...just in time for an NC summer!!!

Unfortunately I have to get rid of the truck. I am moving and I need the money to make the move. I have it on Craig's list.
If interested you can PM me or search in Craigslist under WestChicago Land. Mine is a Green Wagoneer.
It really sucks that I have to get rid of it.
