Heck yea. When I looked this idea over originally that was the only thing I could see that might be a conflict. Looks good. Would be easy to sheild if it became a problem.

Here it is boys.

Sounds like poop when I rev it up. My phone doesn't record the best videos at high volume. But it's deep and throaty but I have absolutely no drone at any speed. I am more than pleased with it. No more fumes inside my rig

Picked up a larger 69mm Ford throttle body for my 4.6 stroker. Also picked up a overhead console and a tailgate piece for my flip up rear window project.

Also installed a curve kit to the distributer and the correct carp space/adapter under the edelbrock carb. New clutch fan and added a fan cooled steering fluid cooler.

I'm heading to the shop to show my mechanic pics of the brackets you guys fabbed up. Hopefully she comes home with shortly after.
REV when you broke-in your cam did you change the oil after 30 min of running it between 2000-2500?

Just spok to him. They are doing the break-in of the cam and I might be able to pick her up in an hour.....fingers crossed

I changed it after the 20 minute break in.
Put in 6 quarts of break in oil for the first 100 miles. Will be changing it tomorrow a third time with Rotella 15-40. Better safe than sorry with break ins.... Now if I can only keep my foot out of it....

Fyi ive been told by many seasoned builders not to run delo/rotella anymore as they too have reduced zinc levels from where they once were. I run Brad Penn racing or Joe Gibbs driven in all my flat tappet motors. Nitriding a cam is good insurance as well.
