Wow, that sounds miserable. It was in the 70'd here today. Sunshine, light breeze. I didn't want to get out of the garage!

That's a pita job and doing it in the cold must have made it that much worse!

Finely installed my 35's
Picked them up used but almost no mile and I got a 5th on a wheel that was brand new.

And the best part is I sold my 33's and the wheels that the 35's came with and ended up with more than I paid for the 35's.
Always like trading up and make a few bucks.

Also started fadding up my spare carrier with high jack.

So I must have pulled a wire to the alternator while working on the manifolds. Left me stranded. Had her towed home. The PO did some hack wiring so I will try to sort it out tomorrow. If anyone has a picture of the alternator from the passenger side of the vehicle showing the wiring connections at the alternator I would really appreciate it. There is a wiring connector that goes into the alternator. Need a pic of that. Thanks

Can anyone take a look at this pic and tell me if the red wire that is seen hanging by the oil filter is supposed to go into the electrical connector on shown on the alternator. If anyone ha any idea in how to get that connector out (I know pressing the tab but its not coming out) I would really appreciate it.

Got it out an found a replacement at pepboys. Actually carried it in the shelf. Now it shows voltage around 15 when idling and running. Is that too high?

ollihopnoodle, where did you buy that brace from? or did you fabricate that yourself?
also, what lift kit are you running that you needed that brace?

Nothing important...

New starter going in today. Looks like the water pump is leaking and that will need to be replaced as well. Man this thing is a money pit but I love it
