Wagoneer radio/cb combo

I just bought a 1980 Wagoneer Limited. It has radio CB combo in it. Does anyone know anything about these? The radio works and the cb transmits but I can't seem to recieve anything in the CB. Does it have a seperate antanae for the CB? Any help would be appreciated.

Factory or aftermarket radio ? Tried Google for an owners manual ?

Yes, it needs a separate antenna for best results. Pull the radio and check the connections on the backside. Inspect the am/fm antenna and see if has an extra antenna coil inside the fender. Are you using 2 CB's and the Waggy is not receiving, or are you just not hearing anything on CH19 ? Unless you are near a busy highway you won't hear much. CB is not as popular any more and the transmit/receive range is limited.
