VIN # question

I recently purchased a Jeep truck.
The title says 1970 J10, but I am trying to
look it up in repair manual, etc. by the VIN number
but am not having any luck. I'm beginning to think the
title may be wrong. Any help would be appreciated!!
The VIN on the door states:
3408W19 302194
Maximum Gross Vehicle Weight 5000 LBS.

Well it's a pre-'81 VIN for sure And it has a Kaiser-Willy's corporation logo, so that suggests pre-'72. What engine does it have?

What repair manual are you using? If it's not a factory manual it's not reliable. They cover too many years to be relied on.

Here's a VIN decoder for 68-70 fullsize Jeeps. Your number are completely legit for that year.
