Vacuum modulator

Hello to all

Where does the trans vacuum modulator connect to on the engine? I aquired this project disassembled and can't find info in any books. I thought just straight manifold vacuum but am not sure. It is a 76 Cherokee with a 401 and a turbo 400 trans with a dana 300. Thanks

Matt
