Straight pipe vs muffler

Okay I have my new Y pipe for my exhaust and am debating on just going to a straight pipe exhaust vs tossing more money into a muffler and cat. Yes I need a new cat because my wife tossed out the rust pipe thing while I was out of town. But that's a whole other story. So good or bad thoughts on straight pipes?

So

Straight pipe sounded good on mine. Wasn't as loud as one would think. No drone either
