I've been wanting an FSJ for a LONG time. really wanted a j-10 or gladiator, but I found two cherokees for a price I couldn't pass up. picked up the blue Cherokee for $1300, and the tan one (w/o a title) for $450.

my initial plans are to clean up the rust issues and get a solid foundation. Further plans for a proper lift with 33s, widetrack axles, gladiator grill, and a few other mods. should be a fun build

Thanks for making up my mind for me. Did you have to cut any fender or do you have and rubbin problems? Love the look with the lift and tires. Definitely going that route with my 82.

1986 Grand Wagoneer

Pretty much stock except for a 4" generic lift installed by a previous owner.
Rides rough as hell, might swap out for a complete spring lift kit from BDS, Rusty's or BJ's. I like the Jeep wheels and 30x9.5's....just wish they stuck out a bit more towards the edge of the fenders.

Very nice! The body looks rust free which is impressive for the snow belt!

With stock rims and a 4" lift the 33x10.50's tuck perfectly in the back.

It does have the lower rear inner fender corners cut out by a previous owner, but it doesnt enter the body at all.
