I picked up this '84 J10 this winter for $500 with the plow:
I've rarely seen so much rust on a single vehicle. I picked it up just to plow and run around the property, but I've since taken a liking to her. Since these pictures were taken I've busted out the sander and cleaned up and primed the front end and the grill, and most of the hood. I'm slowly working my way back.
The bed will be removed and replaced with a flatbed, it's so far gone it's scary. There's moss and grass growing out of the quarter panels.
It's pretty much a lost cause, but I'll slowly get stuff done on her. In about 5-6 years when my kids get older I plan on doing a full-blown restore on a VW bus, so this is my chance to get used to the welder, grinder, painting, etc.
my picture probably wont show up because i dont meet the requirements yet. but its a J10, unsure of the year, that me and a buddy found while driving down a back road about 30 minutes from my house. It was for sale, and probably still is. Dont know what he wanted for it. I was thinking about buying it but found a 76' Wagoneer for $200 instead. Someone wanna help me out if the pic doesn't work. Thanks.

That's Metal Twister's truck. That body just went on a K5 I think. That guy does some amazing work. If I lived in San Diego still I'd bug the crap out of him until he let me apprentice for him to pick up on those awesome fab skills he's got.
Have you guys seen this beaut being tested by MOPAR Development?! It's called the Nukizer 715 Kaiser Concept. You can see the parts borrowed from the JK with an AEV Brute bed to create this awesome machine!
Here's the info:
Jeep Nukizer 715 Kaiser
The Nukizer 715 pays homage to the military-spec Kaiser M-715 truck from the 1960s and is a customizer’s dream. Mopar took a military-issue, four-door J8 and extended the wheelbase an extra 8 inches from 116 to 124 inches. The truck box was sourced from AEV and the front end was completely altered with a new front clip to resemble the M-715. The drivetrain has also been beefed up with heavy-duty axles and custom driveshafts.
