First time I've ever looked for a transfer case (probably pretty obvious!). Found that much. Couldn't find any good info about what to do in order to disengage the shift so I can put it into neutral and roll it without the key. Heck, I'm not even sure which one is the right cable. I do have blocks by the wheels. That's about all I've accomplished.
My transfer case lever is locked in HI when in 2WD. It won't shift to neutral or 4 Lo unless it's already engaged in 4WD. You could apply vacuum to the switch to get the transfer case to shift to 4WD then shift the transfer case to neutral after it shifts to push it forward.
