questions for my 88 Wagoneer
Just got my 88 Wagoneer on Friday, before our big snowstorm! We replaced the oil filter/air filter/got new sparkplugs. Now our problems& questions.
First, where is the fuse box located? On Friday, the hot air blower was working, but not on Saturday. The Air blower on the A/C works fine, but we don't need that now! The wipers work when they want to. And the big one, if you just start the jeep up and go, it runs fine. But if you let it idle for a little, then when you accelerate, it hesitates alot, almost to the point where you think its just going to die right there, but then, after a couple minutes, it just goes! Then it won't hesitate anymore. Only has 58,000 miles on this. Starts great.

Check the vacum lines that control the heater switch. Under the hood, on the firewall drivers side is a dohickey that looks like a softball. Check that all the lines are connected. If a line is off, it won't switch from a/c to heat. If the blower is working for a/c the fuse is ok. Same blower.
