Thanks, it did turn out nice huh? I ended up selling it and moving on to another project that's been sitting stagnant in my garage way too long, my '65 Mustang.

I noticed that in the fresh paint pics the grill looks like the original J truck grill. Then on the completed pics it has the later full length chrome grill. So did the newer chrome grills just bolt over the original grill openings or did you change to the chrome grill? If it did bolt over the original grill that is something I did not know.

Just a slightly modded XJ with a little lift, some armor, four mud tires and a few decals, so far.

It was the original grille for the truck, it had some extra tabs welded on the front fascia and just bolts on right over the "rhino" style.

Wow, nice truck. I built one of those a few years ago. Don't see them around much, not fixed up anyway.

That's a nice looking truck... but the owner sold it, and it's a 3 year old thread. You probably won't get a response.

I'd guess the bumper was home-made. if you want more info, I suggest you start a new thread with a picture of the truck and an appropriate title, like "Where to get this bumper?"

That turned out great! The 'just painted' shot looks a lot like the pic I took of my Cherokee right after getting painted.

I dig the red Cherokee! Is it a chief? Just painted my 82 chief! Flat black ( looks glossy cuz it's still wet in pic! ) needs rims now! I did put the grill in since this pic!
