plastic valve cover

I just got an 82 AMC Cherokee I want to swap a metal valve cover on instead of the leaky plastic one can anyone help?

Is it a 4.2? If so bj's offroad has a good one I put it on my 82 j10 it also had that crappy plastic cover

Yes it's the 4.2 its been sitting for 12 years because the previous owner parked ot because of the leaky valve cover

Lol no I've been looking for a jeep for a while and I traded bike mechanicing for the gem its just about rusted the floors out sadly

I put bj's metal one on mine, it came with directions, ALL the bolts/screws and the gasket. I think it looks good! Here it is before and after- bottom before top after

if only gas was cheaper
