Exhaust routing
I just had some work done to correct a hack-job that I had previously paid for a while back. I have Edelbrock shorties w/out AIR and no emissions at all. I have a 2 1/2" to 3" Y-pipe coming off the headers. I have a Flowmaster I got for a good deal I threw in there and the exhaust dumps right after the muffler in front of the rear axle. All the pipes are tucked up nicely by the frame-rail. Flows pretty good and mpg's went up (mostly because of the previous crappy work) and performance went up too. There are other mufflers out there that flow better for cheaper, but I got mine brand new for really cheap. I'll try to get some pics for you soon. I am pretty happy with it and I've had my foot in it for a few days and have quite a bit more gas than I'd expected (hope my guage still works
).
