Old blue 79 j10 build

Picked up a 79 j10 couple of months ago got it running real good then boom bent a push rod and hung a valve. Took the head off and had it fixed while it was sitting there I got the idea to just refresh the whole motor so this is where I'm at now.

Got the motor all together waiting on a HEI distributor and a pilot bearing as well as a warm day to put it in on

Be careful with that late 70s/early 80s motor. The head is notorious for grabbing valves on #1 or #2 cyls
