all sorts of dj5s out here. all less than a grand. And first thing done to it would be making it 4wd.

Yes! There is a 4x4 dj5 frame by me for $1000 but its just a frame with a crappy cut up body on it, it does have the tranny and Tcase in it

Drove her around the other day. Now she's got newerish tires. Drives so sweet.
Almost made it back to the house when the fuel pump died. But she still looked good being towed with my j10

Have too many projects, and also getting ready to move, so next for her is an electric fuel pump, then some registration, then a for sale sign

and also, the XJ got some rally rims and new tires, and my girl really likes it, so it got added to the fleet. It's bullcrap I'm keeping the stupid one and selling the awesome one.

Love that truck! So glad you put up pics of it. Had to call my girl into the room to show her

Someone on here has a j-tow-truck, and IIRC, a whole yard packed full of fsjs

Short under the dash.

Hmmm. Was fiddling around with stuff under the dash, trying to get to the fuse box, and heard a short... Pulled it away from the e-brake, and she started back up. Now the headlights, taillights, and brake lights are dead. ??????????? Is there a single fuse that can cause this?

I'd check that headlight switch. I've seen a lot with melted plugs. Sometimes the wires will pull out of the plug, as well.

I wish I had time to come give you a hand with it.

Roger. I think the short killed several bulbs, but I replaced them. Switch will be replaced soon, but I'm gonna get a title before I dump any more money into it... Going to DMV for an inspection in about an hour...
