New here :D Looking to buy a wagoneer

I currently have a 1987 chrysler conquest. It was a project and now the project is finished. I was looking around for an old wagoneer and I think I found my car. It's a 1971 wagoneer, it has the 350 buick engine with the automatic tranny. It only has 77xxx miles on it. I want it to be a daily driver for me so I can retire my current truck to a "use it when I need it" status. I'm not sure I know what I'm getting myself into. Is this a good idea...just how bad is it on gas? Any help would be great. Thank you

10 mpg should be bottom mileage. Make sure the carb doesn't have worn out bushings on the throttle or it'll get less than that.
