need a new dashboard in my 91 GW

the dashboard in my '91 grand wagoneer is badly cracked and warped. does anyone have any ideas on (1) where i can find a new one or a used one in good condition, or (2) can the dashboard be repaired? it's in pretty bad shape now. i have checked a bunch on online junkyards and parts stores and can't find this dashboard anywhere!

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm only chiming in because no one else has, still pretty new to the forum. Anyway, I'm pretty sure there are some GM truck dashes that will fit in the GW's. I'm sure it depends on the years you try to match up.

Not aware of any GM dash pads that fit. Best bet is salvage, craigslist auto parts, IFSJA parts vehicles, or Google to find a cover for it.

I removed the dash pad on my '77 J10 and left it that way. Sort of old school all metal.

I haven't filled in the holes, yet, but you get the idea. I'm not sure if the later Wagoneers look the same under the pad. Search around IFSJA and there are threads from people who have remove the pads from different years.

I like the round gauge cluster soooo much more than the crappy square mid-80's f150 crap in my 90. Planning to remove them and fabricate my own cluster using Autometer or Stewart Warner. Want something classy and precise looking. Does anyone know what drives the cruise control?
I didnt see a transducer anyplace like the old GM used so was curious on what happens to that if i did an electronic speedo swap with a 4L80E.

Ill look for the speed sensor, I know the control box was "factory duct taped" to the lower dash rofl. My cruise works awesome it makes burning 4 bucks every 10 miles seem less painful rofl.

I'd like to see what you come up with. I too need a dash pad and don't much care for the 89 instruments. Too bad the earlier rounded clusters don't fit.

What does the 89 -91 dash look like under the pad if its metal and looks cool like the earlier years I'm going to rip it out. Anybody got any picks?
