Glad that you're happy so far! Would have been sad to see disappointment after all the trouble you went through to get it.

Nice having a desert rig huh? I went back to NH once maybe 4 years back and my dad asked me to do something to his 2004 Dakota. Whatever it was, I couldn't even break the nut free. Thing was seriously only like 5 years old. I forget about all the fun you guys get to have up there.

Once you get the fuel lines, we'll need some video of you smokin' all 4 tires haha

im not familiar with the 73 shackle setup. there are different ways to do the shackle flip that will give different results. you should be able to get that 2". some guys use a replacement ford shackle hanger, bolt or weld it to the side of the frame. there are a few different length stock replacement shackles you could run with that.
I really like that truck. if I ever decide to do anything with the body on mine, I will probably just buy something like that and swap my whole drivetrain over.

so flipped the rear shackles, got new 1" longer ones for the front. installed new rear shocks, rebuilt the carb, flushed fuel tank, all new fuel lines, and man she runs sweet.
