Thanks for the compliments! I have to prepare for taxes this week, then it is back on the project until my busy season hits hard, or until I run out of project cash completely. Time to start a checklist of things to do. High Steer, driveshafts, brakes, brake lines, exhaust, winch rebuild, winch driveshaft, shocks/shock mount fabrication.......lots to do.

A couple more pics. Did some test fitting with the rest of the cab pieces to make sure it all still bolts together and the doors still close.

Absolutely awesome build. I've found a '67 that has been parked for about 8-10 years. Mostly solid, the engine is not locked (original 230 Tornado), but the rear floorboards are COMPLETELY rusted out. I'm talking 6 ft briars growing through. Where did you get the floorboards that you welded in? And do you have any recommendatios on other part sources? I think I can get the truck (17,366 miles) for about $400-500, but I need to get an idea of what it will cost to get running again before I take it on as a project.

If you post up on ifsja.org, there is a vendor that can make you a custom set. I believe his handle is obx-automotive

why did you go with the cummins over the 6.2? Your 6.2 looked like it would get and go with that turbo.

Loving the 4bt. What a machine. I still have a lot of work to do, but at least it is a driver now.

Hi I am putting a dana 60 and a dana 70 out of a m715 in my pulling truck and it has an odd bolt pattern for the wheels and I see you have aftermarket wheels on yours how did you convert it to 8 lug?

Take those stock axles and scrap them. They aren't all that strong. If you are going through the hassels of a swap, put something modern in there. I went with a GM 14Bolt/Dana60 with disc brakes.
